Groundswell Series
Groundswell Series is an annual curated program of pop-up, site-specific professional dance performances happening in outdoor spaces of Brooklyn, New York. We aim to encourage presence and engagement in New York City parks; to give choreographers an opportunity to present their site-specific work in front of an audience; and, by bringing dance into public spaces, to promote widespread dance literacy and appreciation. Groundswell Series is curated and organized by NYC artists Madelyn Sher and Stephanie Queiroz.
